Istanbul Aydın University, with the consultancy of Temas Teknoloji, has launched the Digital Education Podiums project in its classrooms with the aim of raising the technological level of its teaching spaces.
The smart classroom programme, which began at Istanbul Aydın University in the 2012–2013 academic year, is an initiative that includes a range of technological interfaces, led by in-classroom "digital podiums".
Simply put, the smart classroom programme aims to help faculty members take full advantage of education technologies, access the information they need in the classroom at any time, and carry out activities such as using the projector, taking online attendance and sharing lesson notes without any additional hardware.
