You can integrate the software with your Exchange server by following the video below. You can integrate the software with Google services by following the video below. Yes. The software panel comes with pre-made, elegant design templates. You can easily change these designs at any time. You can watch the video below for this. Yes, you can place orders. This feature comes built into the software free of charge; you only need to configure it. You can watch the video below for this. Yes, by integrating the meeting rooms with Active Directory, each user can log in to their own calendar via the room display and create meetings from the touch panel.

In addition, using a smart card reader (RFID), automatic login can be enabled instead of manual login.

You can follow the video below to implement these steps. On Microsoft-based mail servers, this feature may be disabled. To fix this, you will need to run the following commands on your mail server for every room mailbox.

When entering the command, replace "room1@domain.com" with your own room mailbox ID. You may also need to run this command for every room. This situation is entirely related to the room mailbox permissions configured on your mail server. The meeting room management software cannot modify or change the settings on Exchange.

We recommend leaving the calendar and permission settings of the room mailboxes at their defaults. If you have made changes and are struggling with permission issues, create a new room mailbox, inspect its permissions and compare them to the problematic mailbox.

When granting permissions to the service account, grant only delegation rights — do not allow all users to manage the room mailboxes. Even though your display may appear to be frozen with a "Loading" message, it is actually trying to reach the server at that stage. If the display cannot reach the server, it will keep attempting to connect. This happens during the loading stage when the display first starts.

If you run into this issue, check the following:

  1. Does the display have a network connection? Is it active?
  2. Is the server on? Is the IIS service running?
  3. Does the server have an internet or network connection?
  4. Has the server gone into sleep mode?
  5. Is there network communication between the display and the server? Both devices must communicate over the same network.
  6. Are some ports blocked or closed on the network? The meeting room management software is generally installed to communicate over port 80. If a different port was used during installation, that port may need to be allowed.
  7. Try connecting to the management software using Chrome on the display. If there is a connection issue, you should not be able to reach the management panel login screen.
  8. Can you ping the server from the display? This is a good way to test connectivity.

Note: If you see a loading screen when your device starts, this is usually due to a communication problem between the display and the server. It is recommended that you go through the items above to solve the issue. This can happen for two reasons:

  1. The display may have lost its connection to the server (network issues, Wi-Fi dropouts, etc.).
  2. The license for your management software may have expired.

The panorama is a feature that shows a list of the existing meeting rooms. You will need a license for the display used for the panorama as well.

You can watch the video below for panorama setup.

  • Can a meeting for another room be created from the panorama?

No. The panorama is only used to display existing meetings on a single screen.

  • What does the "Direction" setting in the panorama settings do?

This is a feature used for multi-floor or multi-location organisations (usually in hotels). It is used to show the locations of the rooms inside the building on the panorama display. For example, it can show information such as the meeting room being on the 3rd floor, or to the right/left of the panorama display.

  • Can the description field be shown on the panorama display?

No, it cannot. The description field can only be shown on the meeting room displays. For example, information such as "the room has a projector, interactive whiteboard, tea and coffee service". This is not supported. Only if the Auto Restart option is enabled will an automatic restart command be sent to all devices every night at 23:59. Auto Restart, when enabled, is a feature that automatically sends a restart command to all devices every night at 23:59.

When this feature is enabled, the command is sent to all devices; a restart cannot be sent on a per-device basis. This feature does not work on iiyama-branded displays. If you have iiyama-branded touchscreens in your meeting rooms, you cannot schedule power on/off commands from the server.

If you want iiyama displays to automatically power on and off at specific times each morning and evening:

  • Switch to the desktop of your Android display
  • Run the MultifunctionClock application
  • Select the days on which power on/off will take place
  • Click the Add Time button and set the power on and power off times.

Note: If there are days when you don't want the device to turn on at all (for example, Saturday, Sunday or both), uncheck those days. Even if you create a new custom design in the custom design tab and add a video, video playback is not supported on Android-based displays. This feature may be added in the future, but currently Android displays do not support features such as playing a video when there is no meeting or direct video playback. PowerPoint, Office file formats and PDFs cannot be played on the displays. Yes. If you wish, you can hide the system bar at the bottom. However, once you do this, you will need to use the HOME button on the back of the device to access settings, return to the desktop and so on. If you cannot reach the HOME button on the back, connecting a USB wireless keyboard/mouse to the device may help you regain control.

If you still want to hide the Android system bar, you can follow the instructions below:

  • Switch to the desktop and tap the Settings button
  • Scroll down and find the Accessibility menu, then tap on it
  • Inside Accessibility, scroll down and find the Hide System Bar option and enable it

After this step, the system bar will now be hidden. To run the software again, press the HOME button on the back of the device, switch to the desktop and run the Meetplat application.
